M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E. On Saturday, I'll be flying to the Sunshine State to spend some much needed time; with Mickey and the gang, visiting Hogwarts and Hogsmeade, shopping till I drop, eating all the burgers and just generally having a great time. I last visited Florida in 2012, and I had the best time ever. It genuinely is 'the happiest place on earth,' and I can't wait to be back.
I'm not quite sure where I'm going with this post, so bare with. Anyway, the above ears are from the Disney Store, and I'm going to try and where them at least once during the holiday. I can't tell you how pleased I am that the parks now have wifi, so definitely keep an eye on my Twitter and Instagram.
Okay, so other than the obvious things, there are a few things I want to do while I'm there... The first being IHOP - I love pancakes and from what I've seen, their pancakes look absolutely delicious. Another thing I'd like to do is visit a Target or Walmart, mainly because my Dad and I want to try our hand at couponing. I've mentioned our love for the TLC show 'Extreme Couponing' quite a few times, but while in The States we want to have a go.
In September, I no longer need to wear school uniform, so it's fair to say a lot of shopping will be happening. I already have a couple of pairs of shoes on my 'to buy' list, and I haven't even left the country yet.
Also, on a slightly more random note: has anyone ever bought a skateboard while on holiday and successfully brought it home? I know there are quite a few skate shops in Orlando, and I'd love to get my own board, but I don't know how I'd get it home?
Finally, if you have any recommendations for places to see, eat or go - do let me know! Also, if you have any tips/advice that would be welcomed just as gratefully.
