I spent my Saturday in London, along with my Mum and sister, and we had a fab day. Sorry for the awful photos - I didn't want to lug my DSLR around with me.

We started off at Hyde Park, which was absolutely freezing. We wandered around for a while, then decided to jump back on the tube to go to Knightsbridge.
Harrods was our next port of call. Okay, so despite having been to London many a time, I'd never been to Harrods?! We had a wander around, and oh my. There were so many gorgeous things. The window displays were something else. I thought they were so cute, and I loved every display. If you haven't seen - it's the 'Harrods Express'. The first window is of a moving train, and the others are all carriages filled with mannequins and pretty things.
Next on the list was Covent Garden. Now, we hadn't realised the whole steps/lift scenario. After seeing the queue for the lift we decided to take the stairs. Bad move. What we hadn't realised was, that there were tons of spiral steps. The first shop we went to was Mac - obviously. The Christmas decorations were so cute, and the whole atmosphere was really festive. So, back we went to the tube to just hop on the tube. Nope. We were literally herded into one massive lift as the stairs weren't open. I don't think I've ever been so close to a bunch of strangers.
Oxford Street was next, oh an Bond Street. My sister and I love Forever 21, and I love the pastel section - so many pretty things! I did buy a couple of things, but I'm going to wait till Christmas for those. The lights were so pretty on Oxford Street too. Oh, and it snowed. Yep. It started to lightly snow, which was just so magical. Everybody literally looked so happy and jolly - it was lovely!
What did you do on Saturday?
Have you been to London recently?
