October 31st means one thing. November is just around the corner, oh and Halloween! So for today's post I thought I'd update you all with the products I've been absolutely loving this month. I've got a few new purchases, a couple of old favourites and a gorgeous highlighter I've rediscovered.
Eyeshadow wise Mac's Rubeneque has been a staple in my makeup routine. I've mentioned it sooooo many times, but the more I use it the more I love it! It's a gorgeous shimmery neutral colour that looks so effortless with a flick of eyeliner and lashings of mascara. Another favourite has most certainly been Wet'n'Wilds Knock on Wood, can this trio get any more suitable for autumn/winter. I love all three shades but my favourite is definitely the burgundy/cranberry colour at the bottom! I find these shadows last all day without a primer and don't slide down my face as the day progresses.
I've been religiously using MUA's Shade 19 for my brows. It's the perfect matte brown shade and looks really natural with my hair colour. I just use an angled brush and lightly fill my bows in with this bad boy. Lately, I've been obsessed with glossy lipsticks, which is why I've been reaching for Deborah Milano's Shade 9* so much recently. It's a beautiful shiny pink that lasts a really good length of time on my lips considering it's more like a glossy lipbalm.
Next up, a new purchase: Bourjois' Cream Blush in Nude Velvet. I bought this from Superdrug a couple of weeks ago and I've used it everyday since. I take a blush brush, swirl it around in the pan, then blend it all over my cheeks. Colour wise - it's a pretty peach shade, which I tihnk will look lovely in the spring time! I featured Benefit's Watts Up in a recent shop my stash type post, and I'm so glad I've rediscovered it. It's a gorgeous shimmery champagne that looks so effortless on the skin. I also really love the packaging, it looks so chic!
