Autumn Essentials

I was planning on putting this post up today, which is so ironic considering it's been such a hot sunny day where I live. But anyway, Autumn has been in full swing so I thought I'd do a little post all about my essentials for this sort of year.

Cosy Knitted Jumpers. Is it just me, or is there nothing better than pulling on a thick cable knit jumper when the rain be pouring outside? This burgundy number featured was from New Look last winter and I absolutely love it - it's such a pretty colour!

Hand Cream. With Autumn comes the cooler weather which brings with it dry hands. I recently got this Almond hand cream from The Body Shop and it smells amazing! Another firm favourite of mine is Soap and Glory's Hand Food.

Skinny Jeans. I feel like as the Autumn progresses, the urge to wear skinny jeans increases. Just me? I mean, there's only soooo many tights and skirts/dresses combos available. Plus these Topshop Leigh jeans are the comfiest, softest jeans I've ever had.

Berry Eyeshadows. During the summer I feel a bit of a plonker with a berry smokey eye, which is why I'm so excited to start wearing Wet n Wild's Knock On Wood more often. So darker eyeshadows are definitely one of my autumn essentials.

Statement Necklaces. When winter rolls around, the florals and bright patterns seem to disappear and I always feel I need something to spice up an outfit - which is why this Primark necklace is a firm favourite item of mine.

  2. Love everything featured in this post. That jumper is lovely! I have never been able to find a nice plain knitted jumper from New Look but that one looks great. Also, never thought to use berry colours on my eyes, but this post has inspired me... :) xo

  3. I'm up for skinny jeans any season, but you are right, especially in Autumn. The necklace looks great. I like its blue beads.
